The commonly mistaken perception is that Amish
furniture is expensive. Compared to the overseas
disposable furniture, this is true. But compared to name
brand furniture (most of it also being made overseas)
our furniture costs less and is of much higher quality.
Name brands just aren’t what they used to be.
We don’t play the “mark-way-up to
mark-way-down” game. Our no-gimmick everyday discounted
prices allow our clients to get exactly what they want
and at the best price. You can be confident that our
prices are always discounted even to the point of being
less than the advertised specials of our competitors.
The “bottom line” is what counts, and we are determined
to simply have the best prices.
Many people are attracted more by
“terms” offered by the big stores rather than the
quality of the product. “Terms” are not free. The cost
of “terms” and “free sales tax” are rolled into the
price and is part of the marketing game. The consumer
pays for it. The furniture from overseas is so
inexpensive that there is plenty of room to add in these
extra costs. Again, sift through the gimmicks & look at
the bottom line.
When buying imports, buyer beware!
A “cherry finish” is a color and is not Cherry wood.
Many ads use enticing descriptive words to describe
their inferior products. You may think you’re buying a
quality product, but maybe not. Often times we think
we’re buying a solid quality piece, but it turns out to
be veneer over particleboard. We’ve done it, I think we
all have.
